    Collection of Additional Funding Through the SBC
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 8/1/16, the PSC adopted an order approving New York State Electric and Gas Corporation's (NYSEG) petition to collect an additional $1,651,000 over a 28-month period beginning September 1, 2016 through the System Benefits Charge (SBC).
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 5(2), 65(1) and 66(1)
    Subject:
    Collection of additional funding through the SBC.
    Purpose:
    To approve NYSEG's petition to collect additional funding through the SBC.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on August 1, 2016, adopted an order approving New York State Electric and Gas Corporation's petition to collect an additional $1,651,000 over a 28-month period beginning September 1, 2016 through the System Benefits Charge for its Energy Efficiency Portfolio Standard programs, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
