    Transfer of Ownership Interests and Lightened Regulation
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 7/14/16, the PSC adopted an order approving Castleton Energy Center, LLC, et. al.'s (CEC) petition for a transfer of ownership interests and continuation of lightened regulation.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 5(1) and 70
    Subject:
    Transfer of ownership interests and lightened regulation.
    Purpose:
    To approve CEC et. al.'s petition for a transfer of ownership interests and continuation of lightened regulation.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on July 14, 2016, adopted an order approving Castleton Energy Center, LLC (CEC), Castleton Power, LLC (Castleton Power) and Fortistar Castleton LLC’s (Fortistar Castleton) petition for the transfer of ownership interests from Castleton Power and CEC to Fortistar Castleton and the continuation of lightened regulation, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.

    No changes.
