    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    Amendment of Appendix 1 of Title 4 NYCRR.
    Statutory authority:
    Civil Service Law, section 6(1)
    Subject:
    Jurisdictional Classification.
    Purpose:
    To classify positions in the exempt class.
    Text of proposed rule:
    Amend Appendix 1 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the exempt class, in the Department of Audit and Control, by increasing the number of positions of Assistant Counsel from 12 to 13 and Special Assistant from 3 to 7.
