    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 7/16/09, the PSC adopted an order approving the petition of the Town of Sempronius, Cayuga County, for a waiver of certain provisions of 16 NYCRR Part 894 of the Commission's Rules to expedite cable television service with Time Warner Cable.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, section 216(1)
    Subject:
    Waiver of 16 NYCRR sections 894.1 through 894.4 and 894.4(b)(2).
    Purpose:
    To approve the Town of Sempronius, Cayuga County, and Time Warner Cable to expedite the cable television franchising process.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on July 16, 2009, adopted an order approving the petition of the Town of Sempronius, Cayuga County, for a waiver of certain provisions of 16 NYCRR Part 894.1 through 894.4 of the Commission’s Rules to expedite the cable television franchising process with Time Warner Cable, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
