    Approving a Limited Waiver of the Commission's Policy Statement on Test Periods in Major Rate Proceedings
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 7/18/13, the PSC adopted an order approving Consolidated Edison Co. of New York, Inc.'s petition for a limited waiver of the 150-day rule set forth in the Commission's Policy Statement on Test Periods in Major Rate Proceedings in a major gas rate case.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 65(1), 66(1) and (12)
    Subject:
    Approving a limited waiver of the Commission's Policy Statement on Test Periods in Major Rate Proceedings.
    Purpose:
    To approve a limited waiver of the Commission's Policy Statement on Test Periods in Major Rate Proceedings.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on July 18, 2013, adopted an order approving the petition of Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. for a limited waiver of the Commission’s “Statement of Policy on Test Periods in Major Rate Proceedings” in a major gas rate case, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
