PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:

Proposed Action:

Amendment of Appendixes 1 and 2 of Title 4 NYCRR.

Statutory authority:

Civil Service Law, section 6(1)

Subject:

Jurisdictional Classification.

Purpose:

To delete a heading and position from the exempt class and to delete a heading and position from the non-competitive class.

Text of proposed rule:

Amend Appendix 1 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the exempt class, by deleting therefrom the heading “State Northeastern Queens Nature and Historical Preserve Commission,” and the position of Executive Director; and

Amend Appendix 2 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the non-competitive class, by deleting therefrom the heading “State Northeastern Queens Nature and Historical Preserve Commission,” and the position of øSecretary 1 (1).
