    Second Stage Gas Rate Increase by Corning Natural Gas Corporation
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    To review Corning Natural Gas Corporation's request to implement a second stage gas rate increase pursuant to the terms of the Gas Rates Joint Proposal dated March 27, 2009 and approved by the Commission on August 20, 2009.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 65 and 66(12)
    Subject:
    Second stage gas rate increase by Corning Natural Gas Corporation.
    Purpose:
    To consider Corning Natural Gas Corporation's request for a second stage gas rate increase.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Commission is considering whether to adopt, modify, or reject, in whole or in part, a request by Corning Natural Gas Corporation to implement a second stage gas rate increase pursuant to the terms of the Gas rates Joint Proposal dated March 27, 2009 and approved by the Commission on August 20, 2009.
