Street Lighting

PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:

Proposed Action:

The Commission is considering a proposed filing by Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation to make various changes in the rates, charges, rules and regulations contained in its Schedule for Electric Service, P.S.C. No. 15—Electricity.

Statutory authority:

Public Service Law, section 66(12)

Subject:

Street Lighting.

Purpose:

To add an LED street lighting fixture option.

Substance of proposed rule:

The Commission is considering a proposal filed by Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation (Central Hudson) to add an LED street lighting fixture option under rate C (customer owned and maintained; delivery only) of Service Classification No. 8 - Public Street and Highway Lighting. The proposed filing has an effective date of December 1, 2011. The Commission may adopt in whole or in part, modify or reject Central Hudson's proposal and may apply its decision to other companies in the state.
