    Applicability of Electronic Signatures to Deferred Payment Agreements
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule:
    Proposed Action:
    The Public Service Commission is considering whether to grant, modify or deny, in whole or in part, the petition of National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation requesting a declaratory ruling with respect to the applicability of electronic signatures.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 30, 37 and art. 2
    Subject:
    Applicability of electronic signatures to Deferred Payment Agreements.
    Purpose:
    To determine whether electronic signatures can be accepted for Deferred Payment Agreements.
    Substance of proposed rule:
    The Public Service Commission is considering a petition from National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation requesting a declaratory ruling with respect to the applicability of electronic signatures to deferred payment agreements (DPAs) under the Public Service Law. The Commission may adopt, reject or modify, in whole or in part, the relief proposed, and may also consider related matters.
