    Extension of NYAW's System Improvement Charge Mechanism
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 8/13/15, the PSC adopted the terms of a joint proposal for New York American Water Company, Inc. (NYAW) that extends the System Improvement Charge mechanism.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 89-b and 89-c
    Subject:
    Extension of NYAW's System Improvement Charge mechanism.
    Purpose:
    To extend NYAW's System Improvement Charge mechanism.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on August 13, 2015, adopted the terms of a Joint Proposal between New York American Water Company, Inc. (NYAW) and the Department of Public Service Staff to extend NYAW’s System Improvement Charge (SIC) mechanism for two years starting April 1, 2015, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.

    No changes.
