    Denying the Petition of Energy Investment Systems & C.V. Starr Research Foundation for Elevator Drive Technology
    PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
    Action taken:
    On 8/18/11, the PSC adopted an order denying the 3/23/11 petition of Energy Investment Systems & C.V. Starr Research Foundation for elevator drive technology as it is not an eligible technology for support under the Renewable Portfolio Standard Program.
    Statutory authority:
    Public Service Law, sections 4(1), 5(2) and 66(1)
    Subject:
    Denying the petition of Energy Investment Systems & C.V. Starr Research Foundation for elevator drive technology.
    Purpose:
    To deny the petition of Energy Investment Systems & C.V. Starr Research Foundation for elevator drive technology.
    Substance of final rule:
    The Commission, on August 18, 2011 adopted an order denying the March 23, 2011, petition of Energy Investment Systems and C.V. Starr Research Foundation at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art for elevator drive technology as it is not an eligible technology for support under the Customer-Sited Tier of the Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) program, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.

    No changes.
