In addition to meeting the requirements set forth in section 795.8 of this Part, the operator shall ensure that there is a review of all pregnant and postpartum patients and/or newborn hospital transfers, with reasons for such transfers documented. Findings from these reviews shall be used by the operator and midwifery birth center director in the development and revision of policies and in the consideration of renewing or granting staff privileges.
