(a) For the purpose of this Part, insurer shall include any corporation defined as such pursuant to section 1204.
(b) For the purpose of section 7.2 of this Part, the terms domestic insurer or authorized foreign insurer shall mean only a domestic corporation organized under the New York Insurance Law, or a foreign corporation authorized to an insurance business in this State, respectively.
