Sec. 726.7. Hearings

  • (a) Any person aggrieved by the decisions of the commission may have a hearing conducted by the commissioner, or a member of the department designated to hold hearings on his behalf.
    (b) The person aggrieved shall be entitled to representation by an attorney or other person authorized by him. He shall have an opportunity to present his case and to examine adverse witnesses.
    (c) The decision shall set forth the findings of fact and law upon which it is based. It shall constitute the final official action of the commissioner in the proceeding.
