PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Procedure Act, NOTICE is hereby given of the following action:
Action taken:
On 3/15/12, the PSC adopted an order approving Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid tariff filing effective 4/1/12 in compliance with the Order issued 11/21/11, to provide net metering of micro-hydroelectric and fuel cell generating facilities.
Statutory authority:
Public Service Law, section 66(12)
Subject:
Revisions to provide net metering of micro-hydroelectric and fuel cell generating facilities.
Purpose:
To approve revisions to provide net metering of micro-hydroelectric and fuel cell generating facilities.
Substance of final rule:
The Commission, on March 15, 2012 adopted an order approving Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid’s amendments to PSC No. 220 – Electricity, effective April 1, 2012 in compliance with Commission Order issued November 21, 2011, to provide net metering of micro-hydroelectric and fuel cell generating facilities, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the order.
